Entry #5 - New York or Nowhere ♥ (Life update & current faves)
It’s been over a year since I did one of these posts. So here we go and hello again. :)
I obviously can’t recap in one blog post everything that has happened in a year but one thing is for sure, NYC is the city that keeps on giving. I continue to love it here. I read somewhere or someone told me that “the more you put into NYC the more you get out of it” and I find that so true. I’ve been saying yes to life over here.
I now work remotely as a full-time social media manager for JUARA Skincare. I really enjoy my role with JUARA. I get to be very creative as well as analytical in my role and it can be a challenge but also fun. :) Ever since starting to work for JUARA I have felt a shift in my mood, and wellness… for the better.
My family and I visited New Zealand this past January. My dad is from NZ and we celebrated his 60th there. We caught up with our friends and family. It was a beautiful trip and great to see my dad’s homeland. I’ve been before when I was younger but don’t remember much. It was fantastic to go now that I’m an adult. Check out the video I made from the trip (if you are interested). I want to travel more in 2023 and in the future. I am now a dual citizen in New Zealand and someday would love to live there for a summer or longer. Once a kiwi always a kiwi lol. 🥝
I still plan on living in NYC for a while. I really can’t imagine living somewhere else at this point in my life. New York City is very expensive and I am definitely spending more than I save … but I kind of look at this experience as an investment in my life. I’m also the happiest I’ve ever been living here. This city isn’t for everyone but I swear NYC and I are soulmates haha. ♥♥♥
If you are reading this I hope you are well. Now that I have a little more time in my schedule I plan to update my blog more and create more of my personal / lifestyle content. Documenting life is something I know I’ll cherish forever. I also am currently working on a personal coffee table book. It’s still very in the works but … stay tuned. ;)
